What a blessing!
So very pleased to have found a most excellent Cynthia Chalmers, the protagonist of the latest installment of the Traversers Book of Riddles, CJ Walker was a great find and such a lovely person.
Young, intelligent, beautiful, tall and loves to act. From the very start she really wanted to be in this project and her smile and enthusiasm said it all. I spent a great day with her going through the script and we met up for Zoom rehearsals. It was very clear she would fit in with the hardworking and talented cast, including my many collaborators, James Charles, Ken Welsh and Morwenna Ferris.
She had a large smile on her face throughout the filming as she was having a great time. This episode leans more towards comedy than straight faced drama, so her bubbly demeanor was indeed an asset.
The dear Ruby Dolly, was there to do the hair and makeup and did a splendid job as always.
The Traversers Book of Riddles episode 2 is called Vice Agent. In this episode, set in 1959 London, Vice Agent Cynthia Chalmers is hot on the heels of two Traversers who are said to be obtaining their code from a local adult theatre. Can you solve this riddle?
